Ambassador Labs New Website: A Focus on Enhancing the Developer Experience

September 27, 2023 | 4 min read

"It’s an exciting time for Ambassador Labs, and we’re thrilled with the unveiling of our newly redesigned website. It’s a critical engagement tool that is modernized to accurately reflect who we are as a company, and features the most robust suite of content to help developers around the world be successful building apps across Kubernetes."

As we set the course to create the best unrivaled Kubernetes-native solutions that fuel a positive developer experience, we realized that we needed a new website to match that same experience level. Our recent launch of a new website delivers a better online user experience while supporting our goal of making Ambassador Labs the essential component for developers to reduce the complexities and fuel collaboration as they build and ship applications across Kubernetes.

Our website now offers a user-friendly design and the most complete set of resources available to help Kubernetes developers uplevel their skills. An intuitive interface fuels a better engagement experience so visitors can find the information they’re looking for easily and fast.

“It’s an exciting time for Ambassador Labs, and we’re thrilled with the unveiling of our newly redesigned website. It’s a critical engagement tool that is modernized to accurately reflect who we are as a company, and features the most robust suite of content to help developers around the world be successful building apps across Kubernetes,” said Aukse Kalanta, VP of Marketing at Ambassador Labs. “We’re dedicated to delivering the best developer experience, and this new and improved website design and functionality allows us to communicate our services, solutions and value proposition even more.”

However, improving the experience doesn’t just stop at the website. Since our CEO, Steve Rodda, joined Ambassador Labs in August 2022, he has prioritized building a leadership team, streamlining the product portfolio - which includes open source and commercial offerings - and reengineering and refocusing product management to address the challenges teams face wherever they are on their Kubernetes development journey. A renewed concentration on our flagship offerings, Edge Stack and Telepresence, and the value they deliver in fueling self-service developer productivity is evident in our redesigned website.

“We know Kubernetes, and we also know the challenges developers face as they’re tasked with building apps fast to support the business objective,” said Rodda. “Our Edge Stack and Telepresence tools are designed to support developers wherever they are on their Kubernetes journey, giving them the necessary tools to optimize development workflows across the cloud, fast and securely, and without having to change the way they work.”

Plus, with enterprise adoption of Kubernetes showing no signs of slowing down, getting developer experience right the first time is all the more critical. Ambassador Labs long ago saw the opportunities Kubernetes delivered in supporting business objectives. We also understood the intricacies and challenges Kubernetes presented with enterprise deployment, particularly for developers tasked with designing, deploying and managing microservices across these environments.

We’ve always been early advocates in championing the Kubernetes developer experience with the introduction of Edge Stack, our API Gateway, which stands at the vanguard of secure traffic management and facilitates smoother transitions from design to deployment. The delivery of Telepresence to market followed shortly to offer the industry’s only solution that bridges the gap between local development and remote Kubernetes clusters, sidelining technology adoption complexities and fueling true development team productivity across the cloud.
